Description

de Castellane Creative is looking for an experienced and amazing web developer to join our growing team! As a Full Stack Web Developer, you will be tasked with coding, designing, and laying out the company’s web platform, blogs, client platforms, and so on.

A Day in the Life

The Full Stack Web Developer will start their day by checking their email, slack messages, or other various forms of communication. Then the developer will dive into internal and external projects for continuous improvement to design, user experience, SEO, etc. Reports and presentations are expected on a regular basis for project alignment and success. 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Maintain a hands-on role in providing above quality web development processes.

  • Maintain and update existing back-end solutions for additional features and existing bugs.

  • Interfaces directly, as needed, with various departments for tasks related to applications or processes being developed and/or maintained. 

  • Design front-end and back-end architecture.

  • Constantly building and improving the front-end of applications with appealing visual design at the forefront.

  • Create responsive designs that work well across desktop, mobile, and tablet breakpoints.

  • Write and present technical documentation, reports, presentations, etc.

  • Test the website(s) on supported desktop and mobile devices.

  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies and trends.

  • Perform frequent quality assurance checks and security audits.

Educational Requirements
 

Applicants must have:

  • a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer programming, or relative field and 

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience. 

    • Alternatively, applicants must have 8 years of experience without a degree or

    • 5 years of experience with certifications only.

Time Commitment

15 hours per week, at minimum, to start with the possibility of increasing hours as role specialty is needed. Hours must be scheduled during regular business hours (Monday – Friday between 9:00 a.m. - 6 p.m. Pacific). Any working hours outside of that timeframe must be approved for maximum efficiency and collaboration by management. 

Benefits and Compensation

  • Between $8-10 per hour USD (403.46 - 504.32 PHP per hour) Depending on Experience. 
     

  • Payment is on an individual contractor basis, meaning the contractor is responsible for making any tax payments compliant with their local laws and regulations along with any applicable United States tax laws and regulations. 
     

  • Clockify is required for time tracking for billing accuracy for internal and external projects. Training will be provided on how to access and use the site. Reports shall be submitted along with your invoice biweekly (every other Friday). 
     

  • The company will also offer additional reimbursement for internet access, at a maximum limit of $60 USD, per month.
