Business Development & Sales Internship


This role offers the intern a total immersion into our boutique, young, and creative agency, and the successful candidate will work closely with key members of staff and executives. You will be directly trained and reporting to the Director of  Sales.. This internship will help you acquire sales skills. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in sales and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.

A Day in the Life

You will be directly involved in lead generation, messaging prospects, and building genuine relationships with them. You will be working directly with the director of sales who will train you on how the systems work, and give you tips on how to connect with prospects. You will be entering the prospects into our CRM and participating in both internal and external sales meetings.


  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from lead generation and growth campaigns.

  • Support the sales team in daily administrative tasks

  • Content creation

  • Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)

  • Achieve all daily, weekly, monthly sales objectives and expectations

  • Participate in sales meetings and collaborations, including client facing events.

  • Collaborate with team members on creative content, focusing on sales driving tactics and processes.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive

  • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office

  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics, and Google Adwords)

  • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices

  • Current enrollment in a related BS or Masters degree

  • Time management and flexibility (all company meetings will be facilitated within PST).

  • Willingness to learn new skills as well as share insight on best practices from your own experiences.

Time Commitment

Flexible schedules are available that consist of 10 - 20 hours per week for 10 - 12 weeks. Hours must be scheduled during regular business hours (Monday – Friday between 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.). It is needless to say that interns able to schedule the maximum hours/duration listed for the internship typically gain a more in-depth experience.

Benefits and Compensation
